Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains what data is collected when you visit this website, at what moment, and why.

Personal data that we collect

We designed this website to collect as little information as possible about you. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, and builds no user profiles. There is no login and no contact form, so we collect no data you enter.

Fonts are served from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts.

Hosting and server logfiles

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you request a page, GitHub processes the technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and your browser and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and reliably. Transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See the GitHub Privacy Statement for details.

Embedded third-party content

Some pages load content from third-party servers. In each case your IP address is transmitted to that provider. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

  • Font Awesome (cdnjs, Cloudflare) — the icon font used across the site. Cloudflare privacy policy
  • Bluesky feed (jsDelivr, Bluesky Social) — the front page shows our latest Bluesky posts. The script is only fetched once you scroll to the feed. Bluesky privacy policy
  • Google Maps — the contact page embeds a map from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google privacy policy

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Baden-Württemberg this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
